Do not send Apple/Google account passwords, card numbers, authentication tokens or other secrets. App version, device type, approximate occurrence time and ordinary error text are sufficient.
Current account and backup
- Remote account: Firebase Authentication
- iOS and Android authentication methods: Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in
- Remote profile/Friends/structured backup: Cloud Firestore
- Backup route/app-managed original record-photo assets: Cloud Storage for Firebase
- Durable local data: Drift/SQLite and app-managed files
CloudKit is not the current account, Friends or backup store. A temporary iOS legacy path remains only to delete reachable pre-cutover location-use fact records on withdrawal/account deletion.
Subscription
Plus purchase, restore and cancellation follow the applicable platform store. Deleting the RUNTORY account does not automatically cancel a store subscription.
Advertising
Free users may receive Google Mobile Ads banner/rewarded ads. The app follows UMP ad-request eligibility, applies NPA/RDP signals, disables publisher first-party ID and does not request ATT. NPA/RDP is not identical to Google's Limited Ads mode.
Running and permissions
- Location: distance/route recording for an active outdoor run started by the user
- Motion & Fitness: indoor running and step display
- Photos: attach/save record photos selected by the user
