Terms of Use

Article 1 (Purpose and operator)

These Terms govern use of the RUNTORY mobile app provided by Meongstore.

Article 2 (Service)

RUNTORY provides outdoor/indoor running records, pet/egg/quest/challenge/badge/collection/inventory gameplay, Friends, Firebase-based account backup/restore, RUNTORY Plus and ads for free users. GPS, motion, pace, distance, calorie estimates and voice guidance are convenience features, not medical, emergency, navigation or safety-guarantee services.

Outdoor GPS running requires the applicable location-service consent and OS location permission. Location processing may continue while an active run is backgrounded where the operating system permits.

Article 3 (Eligibility and account)

RUNTORY is intended for users aged 14 or older and does not provide a parental-consent enrollment flow for users under 14. The current remote account is managed through Firebase Authentication. Both iOS and Android support direct Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in as authentication methods. Required age confirmation and legal consents must be completed before main-service access.

Article 4 (User obligations)

Users must not misuse another person's account, friend code or data; interfere with service/security; use unauthorized automation; forge transactions; abuse payments/ad rewards; manipulate rankings; or otherwise use the service unlawfully.

Article 5 (Content and data)

Core data may be stored locally. Remote profile, Friends and structured account-backup data is processed in Cloud Firestore, while large backup assets such as precise completed-run routes and app-managed original record photos may be processed in Cloud Storage for Firebase. Friends uses friend codes, public display names, relations and weekly aggregates while excluding precise GPS routes, record photos, email and auth tokens from its current data contract.

Logging out does not delete all local data. Follow the app's ownership-protection/local-reset guidance when switching accounts.

Article 6 (RUNTORY Plus and billing)

RUNTORY Plus may be offered as an auto-renewing subscription through supported platform stores. Product name, term, actual price/currency and billing terms are those shown by the store and purchase screen. Current benefits include ad removal, running-record photo attachment, two extra daily food items, and one additional R currency when the weekly quest is completed.

Purchase, renewal, payment method, cancellation and refund are handled under the applicable store's billing system/policies. Account or app deletion does not itself cancel a store subscription; cancellation must be managed separately through the store account.

Article 7 (Ads and Friends)

Free users may receive Google Mobile Ads banner/rewarded ads. The app follows Google UMP ad-request eligibility, applies NPA/RDP signals, disables publisher first-party ID and does not request ATT. NPA/RDP is not identical to Google's Limited Ads mode. Plus users are blocked from ad requests in-app.

Friends/rankings are motivational reference features, not official competition or prize-determination records.

Article 8 (Account deletion)

Signed-in users can request account deletion in Settings. On iOS, the app first attempts the legacy CloudKit deletion path for pre-cutover location-use facts. The Firebase server must then durably accept the authenticated deletion request before the accepted deletion flow proceeds. After acceptance, the app cleans user-scoped local data and the server continues deleting remote backup, Friends, profile and account data under the durable deletion job. Temporary network/service errors may remain retryable.

Article 9 (Service limits, responsibility and changes)

Liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law is not excluded. To the extent permitted by law, responsibility may be limited for failures of devices, sensors, networks, operating systems or external services such as Firebase/Google Cloud, Apple sign-in/App Store, Google advertising and map providers.

Material changes to functionality, personal-data processing, pricing or terms will receive notice/re-consent where required by law or store policy.

Article 10 (Governing law and contact)

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Korea. Consumer disputes follow applicable jurisdiction/procedure.
